# Energy → Balance

Conversion turns short-term activity fuel into a long-term value record. It’s how Conso rewards consistent participation without sacrificing sustainability.

In Conso Points, Energy is designed to move (fuel), while Balance is designed to last (record). Energy → Balance conversion is the bridge between them: it allows users to transform consistent activity into accumulated Conso Points in a structured, fair way.

This mechanism is typically delivered through game loops (such as boxes, streaks, missions, or challenge cycles).

<mark style="background-color:$primary;">**Why conversion exists**</mark>

A sustainable rewards system needs two things at the same time:

* Encourage real usage and daily participation
* Prevent short-term “farm and exit” behavior

Energy → Balance conversion helps achieve both:

* Energy controls pacing (how fast you can progress)
* Balance records outcomes (what you keep over time)
* Conversion rewards consistency by turning eligible activity into durable points

<mark style="background-color:$primary;">**How conversion works (high level)**</mark>

While exact rules vary by program and version, the conversion loop usually looks like this:

1. Earn Energy through valid activity

   Examples: browsing channels, participating in chats, using Mini Apps, completing missions.
2. Meet conversion conditions

   Examples: daily check-in, completing a task set, reaching a streak day, or finishing a loop.
3. Convert through a mechanism

   Examples: opening a box, unlocking a reward, or confirming a conversion action.
4. Balance increases

   Converted outcomes are recorded into Balance as your accumulated Conso Points.

**Key idea**

Energy is not meant to be a permanent store of value. Conversion is how “activity” becomes “record”.
{% endhint %}

<mark style="background-color:$primary;">**What conversion is designed to reward**</mark>

Energy → Balance conversion is intentionally aligned with behaviors that create real value:

* Consistency (showing up repeatedly, not just once)
* Meaningful activity (actions that reflect genuine use)
* Contribution (participation that improves the ecosystem)

This is why conversion is often tied to challenge loops rather than one-click actions.

**Important Notes**

* <mark style="color:$info;">Conversion rules can vary by version, region, and anti-abuse controls.</mark>
* <mark style="color:$info;">Conso may adjust conversion rates, thresholds, or mechanics to keep the system fair.</mark>
  {% endhint %}

#### FAQ

<details>

<summary><mark style="color:$info;">Why not award Balance directly for every action?</mark></summary>

Because direct accumulation without pacing is harder to sustain and easier to exploit. Energy provides pacing; conversion provides durable recording.

</details>

<details>

<summary><mark style="color:$info;">Do I lose Energy when I convert?</mark></summary>

Most conversion mechanisms treat Energy as the fuel that powers conversion. The exact behavior depends on the current program design.

</details>

<details>

<summary><mark style="color:$info;">Is conversion guaranteed to produce the same result every time?</mark></summary>

Not always. Some conversion mechanisms (like boxes) may have variable outcomes by design.

</details>

<details>

<summary><mark style="color:$info;">Where can I see conversion rules?</mark></summary>

Conso will surface the active rules inside the relevant program UI (missions, boxes, or challenge pages).
