# Multi-account & device notes

If you use multiple Telegram accounts or multiple devices, these notes help you avoid confusion with identities, sessions, and rewards.

Conso is built on Telegram identity. That means each Telegram account maps to one Conso identity (PASS ID). When you add multiple Telegram accounts or switch devices, the most common issues come from mixing identities, losing session access, or expecting data/rewards to merge automatically.

This page highlights what to watch out for.

<details>

<summary>One Telegram account = one PASS ID</summary>

Conso generates a PASS ID from your Telegram account (Telegram ID). As a result:

* Different Telegram accounts create different PASS IDs
* Data, eligibility, and some reward states may be tied to the PASS ID that performed the action

Practical rule: If you change Telegram accounts, you are effectively switching Conso identities.

<summary>Multiple Telegram accounts on one device</summary>

Telegram supports multi-account use on many clients. If you use more than one account:

* Always confirm which account is active before doing sensitive actions (transfers, withdrawals, claiming rewards, or admin tasks).
* Avoid using “secondary” accounts for anything you may need long-term continuity on.

Best practice: Pick one “primary” Telegram account for Conso and keep it consistent.

<details>

<summary>Multiple devices: sessions and verification codes</summary>

Telegram treats each device as a session. When logging in on a new device:

* Login codes may be delivered to an already-logged-in device first.
* If you lose access to your old device, login can become slower or depend on SMS/call.

Best practice:

* Keep at least one trusted device logged in.
* Regularly review Active Sessions and remove devices you no longer use.

<details>

<summary>Switching phones: the safe way</summary>

When moving to a new phone:

1. Keep your old device logged in until the new login is complete
2. Verify your chats, channels, and settings work normally
3. Only then terminate old sessions you no longer need

If you change phone numbers, plan ahead—number changes can affect login and recovery.

<details>

<summary>Rewards, eligibility, and “why did my state change?”</summary>

Because identity is tied to PASS ID:

* Claiming or earning something on Account A does not automatically appear on Account B.
* Beta access (e.g., Pocket Transfer in beta) may be granted per account/identity.
* If you switch accounts, you may see a different access state.

Practical rule: Don’t assume multiple accounts will merge history, rewards, or eligibility.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Privacy and security reminders (especially for Web3)</summary>

* Enable Two-Step Verification on Telegram
* Don’t share login codes
* If you see unknown devices in Active Sessions, terminate them immediately

**FAQ**

<details>

<summary>Can I merge two PASS IDs?</summary>

Not in the standard flow. Different Telegram accounts represent different identities.

</details>

<details>

<summary>I used the wrong Telegram account in Conso—what should I do?</summary>

Log out and log back in with your intended account. Then re-check your eligibility, rewards, and settings under the correct identity.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Will I lose data if I uninstall Conso?</summary>

Uninstalling the app does not change your Telegram account, but device-local settings may reset. Your Conso identity remains tied to your Telegram account login.
